SK electrical have been running a successful electrical safety testing company for more than 20 years. Moving the company forward into the european market required a refreshing new brand identity that would allow them to expand beyond their current borders.
This branding exercise required us to firstly rename the company and then create a look and feel for everything then use from stationery to vehicles.
The name Ampion came from the merging of the the words 'Amp' and 'Ion', 2 things associated with electricity. This new name then required a fresh new look that would allow for future expansion through franchising across Europe. As the word was not present in any dictionary it can cross the language barrier much easier.
The logo itself utilises a clean, modern typeface, bringing the companies aesthetic, comfortably into the present day market. This is combined with a mark unique to the brand, a letter ‘A’ made up of two parts, mirroring the concept of the name of the company. The mark is a natural, flowing shape that can be used in a variety of ways across a multitude of promotional items.
As well as traditional materials created for the brand, uniform and vehicle elements were integral to promoting the new incarnation of the company, as the work undertaken by the team is on the road and on site.
